is to capture the essence
in as few strokes, lightly
executed, expertly chosen,
beautifully placed, and as
impeccably balanced as possible.
Brush poems might be a better
description, but not nearly
so evocative a title.
There are various contradictory
rules but reasons and methods
are more important and generally
